    FYFM™ is a smart, efficient and refreshing new online dating service that uses facial recognition technology to identify partners with potential chemistry. Chemistry is basic and essential to romance and enduring love, so that's where we start. Your photo, rather than endless questionnaires and awkward personal statements, is our primary source of information. We do ask a few simple (and often optional) questions to help our members refine their searches once our system has returned suggested matches, but the process is brief. We would rather get you out on a date than have you at the computer looking for one!

  • What is the science behind this new approach?

    Studies around the globe have shown that the visual portion of the brain signals our unconscious and we are innately drawn to people with features like our own.     Because we want to build our "face base" (data base of member photos) in order to offer all of our members across the country the most and best possible face matches, we are currently offering free charter memberships to Find Your FaceMate®.   • How does your facematching system work?

    Find Your FaceMate® has developed a complex algorithm in partnership with Face.com, a leading provider of facial recognition software to deliver potential matches more likely to spark true passion. The system looks at nine unique points of the face that the human eye may not consciously recognize because these points of are often obscured by coloring, hair, relative size, etc. The algorithm we use focuses on contour, structure and proportion of unique points of the face.

  • Why the focus on the face? Do other important aspects of the whole person come in?

    We believe that chemistry is a fundamental building block to any successful relationship and that is why we focus on the face. Many other things factor into a successful relationship and those are the things that come forward after chemistry is revealed. Together they work to create strong relationships, just as it takes two people to build a successful relationship.

  • How can I make sure my photo will work on your site? Can I upload more than one photo?

    Select a color or black and white photo in which you are facing the camera and in which your key features, especially eyes, nose, cheeks, lips, chin and jaw line can be clearly seen. One photo alone allows our sophisticated system to detect the structures, contours and proportions it needs to in order to find potential facemates for you.

  • What do I do if my photo will not upload?

    Please ensure that you have read the requirements for our photo uploader and be certain to follow the specifications listed. If you continue having issues uploading a photo you can either change the photo or send us an email at contact@findyourfacemate.com

  • Who is a good candidate for this new approach to online dating?

    Anyone, age 18 and up, straight or gay, who is single and serious about finding true love. If you are new to online dating, or a veteran who is frustrated with previous online dating experiences, we think you will welcome the Find Your FaceMate® difference.

    In the few short weeks since we announced our launch, our database has already reached 43,000, and is growing exponentially every day.     It's simple. Login to your account, on the left-hand side where you build your profile you will see the button to delete your profile.
